Wilbur D. Fullbright.

Wilbur Fullbright

Dr. Wilbur Fullbright holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma State University, a Master of Fine Arts degree from Bob Jones University, and a PhD from Boston University. Alpha Kappa, 1966-1970. He is an honorary regent of Pi Kappa Lambda, a National Music Honor Society.

Dr. Fullbright served as Chairman of the Division of Music, Boston University for over 20 years. He is Director Emeritus of Boston University School of Music. He founded the Boston University Tanglewood Institute.

Gene Fisher

Gene Fisher

Gene Fisher was Professor of History at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina for 48 years. He served in various administrative capacities as well, including Principal of Bob Jones Academy and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. For many years Mr. Fisher served as Pastor of several churches in South Carolina and Georgia.

He has co-authored several historical books and has been a member of the Board of Gospel Fellowship Association Missions, THE WILDS, a Christian camp in North Carolina, and Treasuring the Word, a Bible Museum located in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Mike Harding

Mike Harding

Mike Harding is Pastor of First Baptist Church in Troy, Michigan. Pastor Harding completed two degrees at Bob Jones University, the last being a Master of Arts in 1979. He earned the Master of Divinity from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry from International Baptist College. Pastor Harding received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 1995.

In 1985, Mike accepted the call to pastor the First Baptist Church of Troy near Detroit, Michigan where he has been serving for 18 years. His ministry is characterized by a h3 emphasis on Christian Education, high music standards, seeing young people enter the gospel and music ministry, a h3 fundamental and militant stance for the whole counsel of God, a consistent practice of personal and ecclesiastical separation, and a God-centered theology. He serves on the boards of a number of Fundamental organizations.

Jennifer Harding

Jennifer Harding

Jenny Harding is the wife of Mike Harding, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Troy, Michigan. In addition to her responsibilities as pastor’s wife and mother, she teaches choral music and private lessons at Bethany Christian School. Jennifer graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in Music Education in 1979. As a student, she received both the Commencement Competition Award and the Grace Levinson Vocal Award. She recently completed a Master’s Degree in Voice Performance from Eastern Michigan University, where she served as a graduate assistant lecturer and was the recipient of the Eastern Michigan graduate vocal award and scholarship.

Gail Gingery

Gail Gingery

Dr. Gail Gingery received a BA in Voice with a minor in Italian from Bob Jones University in 1951. In 1953 he completed the MA in voice from BJU. In 1965 he received his D.M.A in Voice Performance from Boston University where he studied with David Blair McClosky. Dr. Gingery became Chairman of the Division of Music at BJU in 1956, a position he held until 1981. He also served as Head of the Voice Department from 1956 to 1998.

Dr. Gingery helped to establish Faith Free Presbyterian Church in Greenville in the 1970’s and has been the Minister of Music and an Elder from its founding.

In 2000 at Bob Jones University, an endowment fund was established in his name to assist the Voice Department in the development of a vocal arts lecture series, master classes and the hosting of guest vocal clinicians and visiting vocal pedagogues.

Norman C. Marks

Norman C. Marks

Pastor Norman Marks graduated from Bob Jones University in 1960. After graduation, he took the Mountain View Bible Church in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, which began as a Sunday School Mission, and under his leadership, attendance climbed from 14 members to over 400 on Sunday mornings. His ministry at Mountain View has produced a number of preachers, Christian educators, and staff members in several Christian ministries. He has written a number of articles for Christian publications, as well as gospel tracts and booklets, one of which has had a circulation of over 4,000,000. He has served on a number of boards and has been a speaker for numerous Bible Conferences and school Chapels. He was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humanities from BJU in 1976.

David Christ

David Christ

David Christ, a native of Pennsylvania, graduated from BJU with a major in Practical Christian training with a concentration in Christian Education and music in 1963 and a Masters degree in Christian Education in 1965. He served for over 40 years as the Director of Admissions at Bob Jones University. He is a 34 year member of CACARO, the Carolina Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, and was elected to various executive offices, including Treasurer, Vice President, and President. He was honored in 2001 with the CACRAO Award of Excellence, and in 2003 received the Charlie Hendricks Award, CACRAO’s highest honor ‘for contributions above and beyond the call of duty.’ Since 1995 Dave has also been active in SACRAO—the Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions—and has held several offices in that organization as well. He is currently serving in an administrative role in the Communications Department at the BJU. A fine tenor, he has sung minor roles in several opera productions at the University. In addition, Mr. Christ was the director of music in an independent Baptist Church in Greenville for 24 years.
